Hi Simon,

I thought I'd just chime in and let you know about my experience with the Ibogaine...I guess there's not that much to say. I took the Ibogaine in 3 staggered doses separated by an hour to ease my system into it, along with 100mg TPA. 1g of Iboga root bark was taken to start with. This dose would work out at around 14.5mg/kg for my bodyweight. This experience was interesting for me as I have experience with the root bark, TA extract and now pure Ibogaine.

It was a hard experience, as expected. Not a recreational or pleasure trip by any means as we know. Effects manifested quickly and I lay down with a blindfold. Visions were present, but surprised me with being quite subtle. I could see the layout of my room and my arms with my closed eyes behind the blindfold; my third eye was opened again like during my initiation. The visions during my initiation were much deeper and very powerful and vivid indeed. I have started to think that one's initiation with Iboga will always be the most profound in terms of visions.

The Ibogaine was smooth and easy on the body, (much less ataxia and dizziness then on the wood), but hard on my mind...I got a serious psychological arse-kicking, probably well deserved, but it was unrelenting for many hours. MANY thoughts of death and mortality. Someone has suggested my intention may not have been firm enough...so the Ibo' just showed me what it wanted to, which was all my negative aspects, coupled with every humans contemplation of death and oblivion that awaits. Wondering what you think. Yet this was both depressing and at the same time strangely liberating.

It has taken a week, but just yesterday I have started to soar and feel good. Solid, energised and positive, looking forward to what lies ahead. And I think the past days of my drug experimentation history are over, I don't feel that desire any more. Shamanic plants now and again for sure, but no experimental research chemicals...these are gambling with one's health/brain.

On the teacher plant note, couldn't help notice what I assume is your Peyote grow on facebook. I have 10 plants...I was thinking of harvesting 6 in the sustainable Huichol manner so they grow back), and making a tea out of them. Have never journeyed with Peyote before, something I want to experience, if just the once. Any thoughts here? Is tea the best method...thats what someone with experience has recommended I do.

And that is about it. Iboga(ine) is interesting and unique in that much of the beneficial effects come after the experience itself, and it is those which I'm feeling now. I'm exercising and eating well and its really augmenting this positivity. I've heard that Ibogaine washes through one's system muich quicker than with the wood, not sure if that's true or not, but I'm definitely feeling a strong push for a healthy life style. Great timing though before I go back to university I think for a very important year. I do plan on writing an article on GDNF, Ibogaine and neurodegenerative diseases for Reality Sandwich, com, but I would appreciate it a lot if you good glance over it as well at some point, as you seem to be pretty on it with Ibogaine science.

Please let me know of any deals you may have on Iboga, TA or Ibogaine itself. I'm in no rush to work with Iboga again soon, but definitely plan on working with it again in the future.

Right I should sleep now, its really late here as it is where you are. All the best man.

Sam
